It is with great pleasure that the Unicamp Financial Market Group announces another Unicamp Financial Market Week (SEMEF), reaching its 6th edition.
After the successful edition that was SEMEF 2021, we guarantee a SEMEF 2022 as outstanding. With in-person and online events, we promise to impact students and the general public, bringing together big names in the financial market and entrepreneurship.

Abilio Diniz
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Península Participações
Currently, Abilio Diniz is chairman of the board of directors of Península Participações, his family's investment company.
The trajectory of Abilio Diniz is, without a doubt, a trajectory of great success. The businessman is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the country's history.
After his father founded Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA) in 1948, Abilio led the retailer for decades, between 1953 and 2013, having transformed the fledgling supermarket into an industry leader.
Under his leadership, facing internal and external crises and over 54 years, GPA has consolidated itself as one of the great companies of the Brazilian economy.
Carlos Kawall
Carlos Kawall graduated in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of São Paulo (FEA - USP), in addition, he holds a master's degree and a doctorate degree from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). He had a brilliant and inspiring professional career, being appointed in 2004, financial and capital markets director at the BNDES and, in 2006, he became the head of the National Treasury Secretariat of Brazil between April and December of the same year. In addition, he worked at large private institutions: he was chief economist at Citigroup do Brasil for eight years and in 2011, he took up this position at Banco Safra, where he worked for almost ten years. Finally, he was director and head of macroeconomics at Asa Investments, having left the position at the beginning of 2022

Frederic de Mariz
Head of ESG in Investment Banking - UBS BB
Frederic de Mariz holds a degree in history from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a PhD in Finance from USP. He is currently head of ESG in Investment Banking at UBS BB, with more than 10 years of experience.

Head of Equity Research LatAm
Luiz Carvalho has a degree in Production Engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He is currently Head of Equity Research LatAm at UBS BB, with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Alessandro Zema
President of Morgan Stanley in Brazil and Co-head of Investment Banking for Latin America
He holds a degree in administration from USP, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the London Business School and an MBA from the Worthon School. In 1995, Zema worked as a Management trainee at Citibank, after which he became Relationship Manager in the company's Corporate Banking area. In 2000, he joined Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking area, where he had the opportunity to work in 2005 as Director of Credit Suisse's main Asset Finance of Western Group.
In 2007, he became Executive Director of Lehman Brothers. In 2008, he began his career at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director of the Investment Banking division. Currently, Alessandro Zema is president of Morgan Stanley in Brazil and co-head of Investment Banking for Latin America.
Leonardo Cabral is Head of Investment Banking & Capital Markets at Credit Suisse Brasil. Before returning to Credit Suisse in the Investment Bank team, he was privatization director at BNDES, where he executed more than 50 transactions totaling R$78 billion.

Milena Aloisi
Managing Director, Country COO and Investment Banking Brazil COO - Credit Suisse
Milena Aloisi is Managing Director of Credit Suisse Brasil. Currently, he is Country COO and Investment Bank Brazil COO. He joined Credit Suisse in 2001 as a trainee and since then has held various positions before assuming his current role.
Luiz Parreiras
Partner and Manager of Verde Asset Management
Luiz Parreiras graduated in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI - USP). Later, he became a master at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at USP (IME - USP). In 2002, Parreiras worked as an intern at the brokerage Hedging-Griffo. The same company where one of the most recognized investors of the time, Luis Stuhlberger, worked. In 2003, Parreiras had the opportunity to work in Stuhlberger's own team, in the position of Junior Controller. In 2012, he became a hedge fund manager at Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo. In 2015, together with Stuhlberger, he created Verde Asset Management, responsible for the management of hedge funds, and is currently a partner and manager of Verde Asset Management.
